About Alicia
Alicia Arlen, Owner
An electrical engineer by college degree, Alicia found her passion for fitness activity later in life. Plagued by an autoimmune disease since childhood, she fell in love with Taekwondo at the age of 39, in 2009. Since then, she’s overcome additional physical challenges (including surgeries and concussions), participated in sprint triathlons and ultimately, earned her 3rd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo. Her passion to help others overcome their physical challenges drove her to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She also holds the NASM Corrective Exercise Specialization and continues to further her fitness-related education. She’s currently a coach for the Vuong’s Martial Arts Taekwondo Competition Team helping athletes compete nationally from ages 6 - over 40. Click here to learn more about Alicia’s journey.
“Thank you for everything. I really cannot express how you have helped me survive the last few months…I never thought I would run on a treadmill or be able to do squats like I can now. These work outs have given me distractions, an outlet and kept me going through the health issues I have been having… Thank you.”
